With almost a decade of experience dealing with the many complex issues surrounding victims, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in motivating, encouraging, and empowering people to move forward in their lives. I am at my best when I am working on a one-to-one level, as my greatest passion is to help people. I also set up and managed a trauma counselling service for victims as I love to assist people in their recovery / improvement.
I have a BSc. (Hons) in Psychology, a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling, a Certificate in Life Coaching, and a national Diploma in Life Coaching Skills & Practice.
Over the last two decades I have simultaneously worked on a voluntary basis with homeless, poor and needy people, as well as being employed by Victim Support. I have also completed my further education and successfully set up two businesses, as well as being a struggling single mum of two girls. My daughters went from toddlers to teenagers and were used to seeing their Mum juggling work, study, and time with them, so to say life was hectic and out of balance is an understatement.
My success is largely due to my positive mental attitude, self discipline, organisational skills, and wonderful sense of humour. I also have all the support I could ask for from my wonderful daughters, Charlotte & Jessica, as well as my partner John, the rest of my family, and my ever growing circle of friends.
My C.V. is extensive and extremely varied and I have jokingly been nick named ‘the eternal student' as I am always doing one course or another. This means that my range of skills and abilities, which I have fined tuned along the way, is very diverse and I am now in a position to pass them on to you.
